Our History
Puerto Princesa Memorial Park was founded by the late Dr. Ramon R. Lim, a respected figure known for his unwavering integrity, deep faith, and commitment to the holistic welfare of the people of Cuyo, Palawan. Driven by a vision to provide a peaceful, dignified place where families could honor and remember their loved ones, Dr. Lim turned his dreams into reality through hard work, generosity, and service. His compassion for the poor, combined with his dedication to uplifting the community, made him a beloved figure among the people. This memorial park stands as a testament to his legacy, embodying his values of respect, faith, and lasting remembrance.
After Dr. Lim’s passing, his mission was continued by his family and a dedicated team led by Ma. Rita Jocelyn Lim Palces, the current Owner and Developer. Together with the executive committee—comprising roles such as Treasurer, Sales and Marketing Manager, Service Director, Field Supervisor, and a licensed embalmer—the team works tirelessly to ensure that the park remains a place of solace and reverence. Each member upholds Dr. Lim’s vision by prioritizing the needs of the community and offering services with compassion and professionalism.
Today, Puerto Princesa Memorial Park provides a range of services to meet the evolving needs of the community. In addition to memorial lots and columbarium vaults, the park offers a memorial chapel and cremation services, creating a comprehensive sanctuary for remembrance. The park’s commitment to serving the community is reflected in its motto, “Where remembrance is solemn and the soul is at peace,” underscoring its dedication to honoring the lives of those who have passed.
